Fashion Week Street Style + NAJO’s Pre-Fall Collection

The team here at NAJO HQ has been crushing on the street style looks spotted throughout the SS19 fashion shows. It’s no secret that we get a tonne of inspiration for NAJO’s seasonal jewellery collections from what the cool kids are wearing. Our Pre-Fall collection, La Isla Perdida (The Lost Island), takes its cues from the tailored-with-a-twist looks we saw on fashion week attendees last month in London, New York and Paris.

Belted blazers, double-breasted jackets, herringbone trousers and edgy pants suits are the perfect complement to the crisp structure of La Isla Perdida. Spanish for ‘The Lost Island’, this collection evokes the mysterious beauty of island life and the essence of escapism. The dimensional, square-edged profile of our new charm bangles in silver and gold stack together with equal parts precision and whimsy, begging to be paired with a belted jacket, pushed up sleeves and slick ’do.

Meanwhile, pendant necklaces in gold-plated sterling silver feature meaningful symbols, from a stylised clover to an even-pointed cross. Whether worn layered, on their own, or in a two-tone combination with our silver Lost Island Heart Necklace, these pendants are the ideal partner to a sophisticated neutral ensemble, man-style trousers and a classic crew.

Earrings are at once delicate and solid, sophisticated and understated, while still offering plenty of substance. Huggies in gleaming gold plate or highly polished sterling silver offer movement and interest in a stylish silhouette. Even our larger-profile hoops at 50mm diameter with the playful addition of a delicate swinging clover or heart can work back with a pendant necklace without the look becoming too much. In some cases, fashion week trends call for a more-is-more approach to accessorising. The pared-back suits and new-season tailoring present a kind of androgyny that is softened by the feminine charms (literally!) of our latest collection.
