MOTHER’S Day came early for the Sydney celebrity set as NAJO celebrities, stylists, media and content creators to showcase its Awaken jewellery collection. Held in a chic warehouse space in Chippendale, styling was kept minimal with gorgeous native blooms to ensure the jewellery itself took centre stage.

NAJO is the brainchild of Jo Tory, who founded the business in 1986 when she was backpacking around Europe and South America. Then, she took inspiration from her adventures to create accessible yet high quality pieces. The collection, Tory said, is a “celebration of the beauty and resilience of women”. “For over 35 years, our jewellery has been gifted to thank, remember, and celebrate mums, motherhood and mother figures of every kind.” Instead of your usual event canapes, Humble Bakery created customised finger buns for the occasion.
