Over the years, we’ve built enduring relationships with these artisans who are as passionate as we are about slow jewellery and consistently upholding NAJO’s unique aesthetic.
FROM MEXICO, WITH LOVE
Sterling silver has always been our rich medium for storytelling. Gifted to us by nature, silver symbolises feminine energy, purity, clarity, focus and strength. Our Mexican 925 sterling silver jewellery is still handcrafted in Taxco, the silver city where our NAJO story began.
Italian jewellery artisans are globally renowned for their expertise in chain making. So when we first visited our master chainsmiths 30 years ago, we knew we’d found someone special. All our chains are made using high-quality recycled sterling silver, which we’re sure you’ll love as much as we do.
We entrust the custom cutting of our ethically sourced gems to a family of master stonecutters in Jaipur who speak the language of gemstones taught by their ancestors. While some stones are hand faceted to enhance their sparkle, most are hand shaped and polished into domed cabochons to intensify their colour or luminosity.
SILVER ALCHEMISTS
Thai jewellery artisans are alchemists renowned for moving hands, eyes and mind to achieve some of the most beautiful quality jewellery in the world. Their inherited skills result in sophisticated and meticulous detailing, particularly when working with sterling silver.
We’ve worked with the same small workshop in Bangkok for many years. Our family of artisans are true jewellery alchemists with an innate ability to translate our designs into magical pieces that endure.
