Join us as Jo Tory and the NAJO design team explain the meaning behind AWAKEN and their favourite pieces from the new collection.

Can you explain what inspired the design for the Awaken Collection?

"I think the inspiration was to experiment with different textures to make a collection with variety, but one that has cohesiveness as well." 

There are some beautiful mini-collections within the Awaken Collection. Can you explain the themes behind each mini-collection (twist, multiwire, woven etc).

"Apart from high polish, classic silver (which is a hallmark of Najo design), we have always incorporated texture in our designs. The twist, multiwire and woven themes are all similar elements that are being treated in different ways.

What design do you think is the most successful within the collection?

"Now that’s a difficult one! The Awaken Silver Hoop and Revival Silver Hoop are the most successful."

What do you think NAJO customers will love most about the new collection?

"I think Najo customers will love this collection as it offers so much variety, but all the designs remain strictly within the Najo aesthetic. They are recognizably Najo."

Can you explain your favourite Bracelets/Bangles, Earrings, Necklaces and Ring designs, and why from the new collection?

"All of the weave collection is my favourite, because it is simply beautiful."
